Compassion for Horses Became a Life-altering Passion

Horses have always been a joyous and integral part of our lives, since we were young. As adults, we realize that we need to remain an integral part of their lives, bringing joy, comfort and care to those that have been abused, abandoned or neglected.

The decision to form a not-for-profit organization that supported our community’s at-risk equine population was easy. While Horse Rescue at The Grove was originally founded by an individual, an amazing team of volunteers coalesced quickly.

Soon, parents and pediatricians were contacting us about accessing our stable of rescues for equine therapy sessions with sensitive children in need. Our growth has been exceptional with the helps of our friends and neighbors. We want to rescue more horses and help more children. But we need your help.

This is an expensive venture. The rescues need food, veterinary care, shelter as well as our human touch. That is why we are inviting you to join us in our passion. Become a volunteer. Sponsor a horse’s monthly expenses. Or simply donate what you can to keep “Horse Rescue” vibrant for all who benefit from its programs.

“A horse doesn’t care how much you know until it knows how much you care.”
